| Remarks | Chromosomes with 9 biarmed and 11 monoarmed pairs. Has a c-band only in pairs 1,2,6,9,16,17, 18. A secondary constriction is present in the short arm of the pair 8. Heteromorphic sex chromosomes were not detected. The c-banded karyotype shows constitutive heterochromatin in the pericentromeric region of the chromosome pairs number 1,2,18 in both males and females. Intensity of marked bands less marked in pair 1, 18. Thin heterochromatic bands can be discerned at some telomeres, especially in pairs 6,9,16,17,18. The active AgNOR were not detected in the chromosomes. |
