Coloration pattern: dusky background with 18-26 saddle-like dark bands on middorsal between nape and end of anal fin; black margins usually present on pectoral fin rays. Snout 27-30% in head length; postorbital distance 60-67% in head length. Head with strongly convex anterior profile.
臀鰭棘條 124-155; 尾前椎 13-14; 尾部的脊椎骨 66-71. 顏色圖案: 暗色的背景用 18-26個像鞍狀斑一樣的深色條紋背面中央的之上在後頸與臀鰭的末端之間; 黑色的邊緣通常位於胸鰭鰭條之上。 吻 27-30% 分之一頭長; 眼眶後的距離 60-67% 分之一頭長。 頭部有強烈中凸前面的輪廓。
