Symptoms: | Exhibits haemorrhagic septicaemia. Infected young pike loose their schooling behaviour, they move very slowly to the surface or lie motionless at the bottom. Can exhibit exopthalmos, haemorrrhage around the pelvic fins that is characterized by a red and swollen area. The abdomen is distended with a pale colored gills. A minute reddish or purplish spot that contains blood can be seen in the spinal cord, optic tectum, spleen and some part of the kidney. | |
