Occassionally entering lower reaches of Kunene River (Ref. 52863). Although occasional specimens have been taken in Namibia as far south as Swakopmund, these are unusual in tolerating temperatures of 13.5°-14.5°C in rough, silt-ladden waters (Ref. 2799). Caught in bottom trawls and on line gear (Ref. 27121); caught occasionally by shore anglers (Ref. 36731). Also Ref. 54854.
