Known from the southern Congo River basin (Ref. 120641) in the Chiumbe and Chicapa (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin), from the Cubango (=Okavango) (Ref. 11970) and from Lake Calundo (upper Zambezi), although presence in the Zambezi questionable according to Ref. 120641.
