Found in the Iberian Peninsula (Ref. 119049). The scarcity of the population is theatened by the introduction of exotic fish predators, habitat destruction (desiccation) and water pollution. Occurs in Ruidera Lakes (Ref. 27858). Also Ref. 6376, 11240, 26100.
