Recorded from the Mississippi Basin in Coastal Plain, extending into upland areas in Ohio, Cumberland, and Tennessee river drainages. Also in uplands west of Mississippi River in White, Arkansas, and Ouachita river systems; and in southern Great Lakes tributaries (Ref. 10294).
