Type locality northeast Luzon, Aurora Province, purchased at Dinadiawan City Market, PNM 15199 (previously USNM 438093) (holotype of Acanthurus albimento, 25.24 cm SL). Exact locality nor dpeth of capture are unknown. The vendor stated it was caught in vicinity of Dinadiawan (Ref. 114728). |
