Type locality of the holotype of Marcusenius multisquamatus: 'Namibia: Cunene River: Epupa Falls, Hot Springs Campsite, estimated 300 m upstream from the Falls, 17°00'07"S, 13°14'57"E, about 600 m altitude' (Ref. 94473). Known from lower Cunene River (Ref. 94473, 113652). Reports of Marcusenius multisquamatus of the Cunene River mouth (Ref. 94473) are misidentifications for Marcusenius desertus (Ref. 113652). |
