Stocked unintentionally, it has established all over the country (Ref. 45688), and in the lakes and ponds of North and Central Italy, it has caused the decline of Alburnus alborella and Perca fluviatilis (Ref. 1739). Invasive in north, central, and southern Italy (Ref. 119201). Recorded from the Ombrone, Albegna and Fiora rivers (Ref. 45688). Also Ref. 13364, 56550, 94493.
