Known from the Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve, and Acropora and Montipora dominated coral areas at Long Ke Wan (Ref. 36558). Also reported from Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637). Prefer sites that are more exposed to wave action. Only a single individual was observed from rocky reefs in Tsim Chau (Ref. 128523). Sold in live fish markets. Caught using nets and traps (Ref. 125552). Also Ref. 129329. |
