Type locality, Palawan Province, NW side of Putic I., USNM 225176 (holotype of Eviota bipunctata, 1.4 cm SL, male). Also collected from Negros Oriental (Maloh, Negros I. and Vic Port Siyt) and Zamboanga del Norte (W side of Solino I.) (Ref. 108789).
