Comments: Type locality: Tide pool at Dumaguete, Oriental Negros, CAS 32984 (holotype of Vaimosa fusca, 3.25 cm, female). Also collected from the brackish water of Port Dupon, Leyte (Ref. 43716). Also Ref. 559.
