Specimens were collected in 1993 from Kiga creek and Ambacan River at Baybay, Leyte and from Sohoton Cave and Inuntan, Basey River, Samar (Ref. 7223). Museum: Cagayan de Misamis, Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, mangrove swamp next to Fishery Experiment Station, CAS-SU 36537 (misprinted 23637 in original description) (holotype, 2.25 cm SL, sinistral male); CAS-SU 36538 (paratypes). Negros Oriental, CAS-SU 52344, 36566, 32355; CAS 60258; MNHN 38-15; ROM 54986, 54987, 54988, 50489, 51854. Mactan I., Cebu, AMS I.21938-016. Northern end of Cuyo, Palawan, CAS 54645.
