Comments: Type locality of the holotype of Luciobarbus maghrebensis: 'Ifrane River, Sebou Basin, Ouad Ifrane, Atlantic slope in Morocco (33.296957, -5.492639)' (Ref. 107580). Type locality of the syntypes of Barbus setivimensis var. labiosa: 'Fez (Maroc)' (Ref. 94706). Known from Sebou River basin (Ref. 107580) and rivers flowing into Moulay Bouselham Lagoon (Ref. 107580).
