Comments:
Reported in the lower reaches of the Temash river and continental waters. Also recorded from Laguna de Términos (Ref. 79080). Collected at the mouth of the Brazos river on the Gulf of Mexico side of the Quintana Beach, Texas jetty, in October 2009. And since then has been thriving on Macrobrachium shrimp and flake food in my aquarium for 6 months (Brian Hanks - bhanks@blinn.edu, pers.comm. 02/10).
