Reported from Sharp Island, Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637); and Cape D'Aguilar (Ref. 129329). The species was observed on 11 to 100 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Sold in live fish markets (Ref. 125552). Also Ref. 119714, 125586, 128523.
