Found in the lower reaches of the rivers in south-east China (Ref. 26563). Known from Guangdong Province in the drainages of Longjin He and its river mouth, Bei Jiang, Xi Jiang and Zhu Jiang delta. Reported from China's coast (Ref. 47843).
Known from Fanyu county, Hongqili; and other 7 specimens from Xinhui county, Yaxi of Zhujiang delta in Guangdong Province(Ref.45323).
