Occurs in the Mekong basin in Yunnan (Ref. 27732). Inhabits gravel bottom of the streams to the south of the Changjiang River (Ref. 26563).
Known from Zhaoguan city, Yingde county, Qingyuan county of Beijiang river drainage in Guangdong Province (Ref.45323, 89718).
