Comments: Ranges from northern Canada and British Columbia to Quebec (Ref. 52559). Once used by eskimos and indians as alternative dog and human food when trout and whitefishes were scarce. One of the most important game fishes in northern Canada (Ref. 27547). Also Ref. 3221, 119194, 118443.
