Known from Solsona, Batac, Laoag, Bacarra and Dingras (Ref. 2853). Museum: Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Luzon, creek and rice fields, Fish and Game Administration collection No. 41062 (holotype, 3 cm; 29 cotypes, 2.4-3 cm). Some specimens were sent to Stanford University, California. Also Ref. 12591, 12738, 27139. Endemic status computed from FishBase data (country records, occurrences records in literature and in point data) on 16/07/08.
