Known from Surigao City (Ref. 58652), San Juan, Batangas (Ref. 107854), Karitonan Reserve, Calatagan and Fuego Point and Sunset Cove, Nasugbu (Ref. 107853), Lanuza Bay (Ref. 104756), Bongo Island and Paril-Sangay Protected Seascape, Moro Gulf, Davao Gulf, Malalag Bay and Sarangani Bay (Ref. 106380), and Bantayan Is. in northern Cebu (Ref. 114734). Most common clown fish in the Philippines (Ref. 13724). Known to coexist the sea anemone Stichodactyla mertensii
