Distribution:  Europe: Turkey.
Diagnosis:  This species is distinguished by the following characters: flanks with irregular molted dark black blotches; base of dorsal-fin origin with a saddle-like spot; snout blunt; base of caudal with fused spots; dorsal face of head without spots and blotches or may have small spots, pale ventral part of body without colour pattern; caudal peduncle 5.5-7.1 %SL (Ref. 124013).
Biology:  Inhabits small stream with sandy and clay bottoms covered by dense vegetation (Ref. 124013).
