Max. size:  14.66 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: presently known only from Amphoe Sai Yok in the Meklong basin in Kanchanaburi Province, western Thailand.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 4-4; Anal soft rays: 54-61; Vertebrae: 50-52. Prominent mandibular muscles causing the cheeks to appear inflated; 4 mandibular barbels and vomerine teeth present in 2 separate patches.
Biology:  Occurs in hillstreams and caves (Ref. 58784). Feeds on fishes and insects (Ref. 58784).
