Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.80000019073486 - 8; dH range: 5 - 20
Distribution:  Asia: India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar (Ref. 4832). Reported from the Mekong basin (Ref. 12975).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults live in hill streams and large rivers (Ref. 4832). Found in clear hill streams with gravelly bottom (Ref. 41236).
