Family:  Lophiidae (Goosefishes)
Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 180 - 460 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Philippines and Admiralty Islands, north of New Guinea south to the Arafura Sea (Ref. 9819) and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species (Ref. 75154) which occurs in the continental shelf and slope (Ref. 7300, 75154).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 August 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
