Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: delta of the Niger and Cross River in southeastern Nigeria (Ref. 7372).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small brooks and swamps (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
