Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 13-13. Has incomplete lateral line, single pair of barbels (rostral), pharyngeal teeth on two rows.
