Remarks Found in shallow water of barrier and fringing reefs and in deep water in the lagoon and outside the barrier reef. Johannes' observations in April 1977 was based on predictions of Peleliuan fishers. He observed schools (which appeared to be spawning aggregations), a day before the new moon, moving southward from both sides of Peleliu to off the southern tip. Right after the new moon, at dawn the aggregations disappear. Also Ref. 10494.
