Rather hump-backed, belly with 18 0r 19 + 7 or 8 = 25 to 27 keeled scutes from isthmus to anus. Lower gill rakers with serrae not distinctly clumped. Pectoral filament long, reaching to base of 27th to 41st anal fin ray.
