Two elongated or roundish central lobes on the second simple anal-fin ray in specimens larger than 25 mm SL and lepidotrichia of branched pelvic-fin rays 8-16 dorsoposteriorly hypertrophied into large projecting processes in males. No dark stripes on body; no concentric bands on paired fins. Pectoral-fin origin in front of corner of mouth. Pelvic fin reaching 50-80% of distance between anus and anal-fin origin. No cavity around the mouth, no skin-fold between oropectoral membrane and ventral surface of head (Ref. 40433). Description: dorsal fin with 3 simple and 8 branched rays; anal fin with 2 simple and 4 branched rays; pectoral fin with 1 simple and 23-24 branched rays; pelvic fin with 1 simple and 19 branched rays (Ref. 40433). |
