| Comments: | Introduced in 1965 (Ref. 58867). Reintroduced for aquaculture in 1977 from India. Introduced to Nong Tong and Tha Ngone fish farms in Vientiane, Lao PDR by the Mekong Secretariat with funding from the government of The Netherlands.
