Remarks: | Infestation commonly occcurs in the abdominal cavity, mesenteries, swimmbladder, liver, spleen, kidney, intestinal lumen, serous membrane of the intestine and rarely in the skin below the scales. The disease also occurred in the localities of Quintana Roo: Noh-Bek; Tabasco: El Espino, El Pozo, Yumká; Yucatán: Celestún, (laguna; locality type), Chelem, Mitza, Río Lagartos. The infection were reported by Moravec, Vidal and Salgado-Maldonado (1992); Moravec, Jiménez-García and Salgado-Maldonado (1998) (Ref. 051153). |
