Comments

A lessepsian migrant; see Introduction Table. Found in Urla coast, Izmir Bay, Aegean Sea (Ref. 88192).Common in the Turkish coasts (Ref. 94612). A specimen (22 cm TL, 183.1 g) was collected in November 2014 from Assos, Edremit by trammel net at a depth of about 2-3 m on a sandy, rocky bottom mixed with Posidonia (Ref. 120766).
