Known from the Hamun-e Mashkel (Mashkid) basin and the eastern tributaries to the Hamun-e Jaz Murian basin. Widely distributed in the Iranian Bahookalat River drainage in the Gulf of Oman basin close to the Pakistan border (Ref. 103390). Recorded from the Karvander river at bridge north of Karevander in Sistan and Baluchestan provinces (Ref. 95534). Type locality: Bampur and Bazman Rivers, both tributaries of Hamun-e-jaz Murian, a lake in Iranian Baluchistan (Ref. 31729). Also Ref. 102005, 106249.
