Found in Capure Island (Ref. 51849). Recorded from a diversity of aquatic ecosystems fringing the western slope of the Andes (Ref. 46088), and coastal drainages between the Orinoco delta, Venezuela and the Essequibo River delta, Guyana (Ref. 129076). Also Ref. 33390, 46088.
