Comments:
Feeds on fishes and some invertebrates; may be ciguatoxic. Commonly observed in schools on deep reefs. Caught by hook and line, occasionally in fish pots. Juveniles collected from Manning Bay Lagoon. Grows to about 76 cm (Ref. 26180). Also Ref. 3277.
