Comments: Known from the upper Zambezi with a few specimens recently taken below the Victoria Falls in Lake Kariba. This species was never recorded in the system before the dam was built. Comprises about 3% by weight of the total catch in the upper Zambezi floodplain gill net fisheries. Also Ref. 5693, 52307.
