Comments: Reported to occur in southern Mozambique (Ref. 3263, 5578, 12484) but Compagno 1997 (Ref. 9840) states that its occurrence in the east African coast needs further confirmation. Caught by anglers and in trawls and beach seines (Ref. 12484). Edible, but not popular, and many are released unharmed (Ref. 12484). Also Ref. 41669.
