Comments: Known from Jalisco and Michoacan in Rio Grande de Santiago basin, Rio Lerma basin and Rio Ameca. Population stable in the 1990s (Ref. 27639). Collected together with Allotoca goslinei and Moxostoma mascotae at Potrero Grande, Jalisco (Ref. 58357). Also Ref. 84762.
