Found in the Mekong River (Ref. 30857). Found in Ban Hang Khone at Don Khone, 3 km below the fall line of the great waterfalls of the Mekong basin at Lee Pee (Ref. 9497). Undertakes upstream migration in June-July at Champassack Province, Southern Laos (Ref. 37771). Enters the flooded forest during high water (July-October) and feeds mainly on fruits (Ref. 9497). Museum: Mekong at Ban Hang Khone, just below Khone falls, CAS 94876 (Ref. 5515). Also Ref. 37767, 41485, 43281, 56905.
