Three specimens were taken from shallow waters south of Lombok, Indonesia, near the town of Kuta and one individual was photographed in June, 2010, from Pantai Merah (Pink Beach) Komodo Island, Indonesia, at a depth of 5 m which was found on a night dive beneath a table coral and was estimated to be between 5 - 8 cm long, but was not collected. (Ref. 89955).
