Comments: Known from Sumatra and Borneo (Ref. 7050, 36654). In Kapuas Lakes area, Kalimantan Barat, fishermen reported that this fish usually occurs in rivers and major streams, but it is more frequent in the Kapuas main river (Ref. 56749). Found in lakes in low numbers, particularly during the dry season and the start of the wet season (Ref. 56749).
