Comments: Rainbow trout migrate at water temperatures from 5° to 11°C generally under high flow conditions (Ref. 26524). Spawning occurs in clear, flowing waters, usually less than 30 cm deep, over clean gravel. Fertilised eggs are deposited in a depression in the gravel made by the female (Ref. 26525).
