Comments: | Groupers were observed spawning in subgroups out of a larger aggregation from 20 minutes before to 20 minutes after sunset, 2 days before to 3 days after the full moon. Spawning occurred mainly within 10 minutes around sunset. Males emit huge puffs of sperm which appear like cumulus clouds. | |||||||||||
