Additional Characters Large egg with thin, fragile chorion and wide perivitelline space; oil globule is small (Ref. 35601). Yolk is irregularly segmented (Ref. 265), 0.9-1.4 mm in diameter (Ref. 35601). Melanophores form along dorsum of embryo soon after blastophore closure (Ref. 35601).
