Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 15 - 30 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in silty lagoons and coastal reefs in small groups (Ref. 90102).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 25 March 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Reported in San Juan, Batangas (Ref. 107854). Previously known only from Papua New Guinea, new record for the Philippines (Ref. 48613).
