Max. size:  50 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 100 - 696 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan to Philippines, possibly Australia (Ref. 124468). Austral-Indonesian records are considered to represent two or three undescribed species (see Ref. 87957).
