Distribution:  Asia: Barbacan, Abongan and Babuyan drainages in northern Palawan, Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8
Biology:  Inhabits streams, medium and large rivers with clear, slowly moving to relatively fast flowing water, with gravel and muddy substrate. Feeds on shrimps, worms, insect larvae and detritus (Ref. 57971).

Country info:  Presently found only in the Barbacan (Municipality of Roxas), Abongan (Municipality of Taytay) and Babuyan (Puerto Princesa City) drainages (Ref. 57971). Occurs in streams, medium and large rivers with clear, slowly moving to relatively fast flowing water, with gravel and muddy substrate (Ref. 57971). Also Ref. 94476.
