Family:  Chlorophthalmidae (Greeneyes)
Max. size:  15 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 300 - 350 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: southern Japan to the Philippines. Recorded from the Chesterfield Islands (Ref. 11897) and the Indian Ocean waters of Indonesia (Ref. 5978).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Carnivorous.

Country info:  Collected during the Hearst Expedition 2011 done off Batangas and Mindoro, off SW Luzon (Ref. 95664). Also Ref. 559, 9137.
